Dear Melissa, Being a photographer is the best profession I could think of, and I understand that it is the same for you. However these days it is so much more difficult to live on it. The competition is harder and often the clients set the levels for what they are prepared to pay. Often on terms I am not so shure that I agree with. Being with a gallery might be different, perhaps. I am not so shure. But still I would not change my days for anything. I am sorry that I can´t fund your future but I sincerely wish you all the luck with your choice. It is the best.

For those that do not know me personally, my name is Melissa Fague and I am a visual artist (Photography) living and working in Wilmington, DE. I received my associate’s degree for Digital Photography from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2013.
